The Characters are all the other figures that populate your world and that your user does not embody. They are akin to what is commonly referred to in video game language as NPCs (Non-Playable Characters).
Aarda offers you the opportunity to populate your world by providing a character sheet that is even richer than that of the Player Character.
Indeed, since the behavior of these NPCs is entirely delegated to an AI model, the goal here is to provide enough instructions and details so that your characters reflect how you envision them.

Access the Character Sheet module from the left sidebar.
Name: This is the name under which your character will appear in the dialogue interface. You can simply use a single first name for this field to simplify. Don't forget, however, to specify your character's full name in another field, such as the "Origin" field.
Gender: You are free.
Life Period: Indicate what period of life your character is in. Child, teenager, young adult, adult, late adulthood, seasoned, old person. Or indicate in free text your character's age if you wish to specify it, for example: "32 years old".
Origin: Specify where the character is from. This can be a country, a region, a town, or a village.
Role: Specify what the character does in life. It could be a profession, a status, a function in a group. Feel free to refer to an entity that is a product of your invention.
Core Description: Describe the character's psychology, who they are deep inside. What are their values and principles? Focus on their psyche, mindset, and opinions rather than their background or origins.
Backstory: Describe the character's background, everything that makes them who they are today. Where are they from? In what environment did they grow up? Are there any significant events that contributed to shaping the person they have become?
Motivation: Describe what the character longs for and what they would like to accomplish. -
Flaws: Describe your character's weaknesses, everything about them that could prevent or slow them down in achieving their main goal.
Speech Adjectives: Provide speech adjectives that describe the way your character speaks. This will influence the way they will reply to your player.
Species: One might expect you to only create human characters. But if you are developing a fantasy or science fiction story, that could be quite different.
Appearance: Describe your character's full body and clothing so that characters you chat with can visualize what they look like. This is a very important field. Indeed, it is thanks to the information you provide here that all the other entities in your world (most of the other characters) will be able to describe what they look like.

These gauges allow you to visually give an emotional dimension to your characters. As with the previous items, these gauges will directly influence the way your character converses and influence their reaction to what the player can offer them in terms of dialogue.
